Patient Information
What to expect, what to bring, and how we make the first visit easy.

Your First Visit
Your first visit is a comprehensive examination and assessment of your case — including a review of any information provided by your referring dentist. Diagnostic imaging is taken as needed (often a 3D cone-beam scan for implant consultations) so your situation can be thoroughly evaluated. Your doctor will discuss the diagnosis, explain procedures and sedation options, and create a treatment plan built around your individual needs.
You’ll leave with that plan in writing: recommended treatment, alternatives worth considering, itemized pricing, and financing options. Please raise any concern you have about your care — we consider it an honor to care for you and don’t take the trust lightly.
- Comprehensive exam and imaging
- A conversation about goals — not a sales pitch
- Itemized treatment plan and financing review
- Same-visit treatment starts when appropriate
- Save time: download and complete our new patient forms before your visit

Financing & Insurance
We accept most PPO insurance and verify your benefits before any treatment. For implant care, financing through providers like CareCredit spreads treatment over monthly payments, and HSA/FSA funds apply. Larger plans can be phased across visits and calendar years to maximize benefits.

Questions Patients Ask Us
What should I bring to my first visit?
Photo ID, your insurance card if you have one, a list of current medications, and any recent X-rays or records from a previous dentist (we can also request these for you).
Do you take my insurance?
We work with most PPO plans and verify benefits before treatment so you know your real out-of-pocket cost. Call with your member details and we’ll check for you — it takes minutes.
What are the aftercare instructions for implant surgery?
Rest the day of surgery, use cold compresses for swelling, stick to soft foods, avoid straws and smoking, and take medications as directed. Full written instructions come home with you, and you’ll have a direct line for questions.
